Reviews
Casino reviews for Canadian players
We review 20 casinos: four ProgressPlay brands that combine casino, live tables and sports, and 16 sites from the Casino Rewards group. Each review says who runs the site, which licence it states, how Canadian banking works, what safer-gambling tools exist and whether it has anything to do with Ontario's regulated market. No stars or scores, just what the casinos publish and a labelled opinion.

What the four featured brands have in common
BetNeptune, AceLucky, LekkerBets and AfricaSports are white-label sites run by ProgressPlay Limited. All four domains appear on the UK Gambling Commission's public register under ProgressPlay's account, 39335, each with the status “White Label”. That's a licence for Great Britain. It is not recognised by Canadian or Ontario regulators, and we never suggest otherwise.
Because they share a platform, they share some mechanics worth knowing:
- Limits are network-wide. A deposit, stake or loss limit you set on one site applies across every account you hold in the operator's network.
- Welcome offers are shared too. Each offer's terms say it's “limited to 5 brands within the network”, so you can't collect it at every sister site.
- The same payment table. Interac Combined for Canada (C$10–C$5,000 in, C$20–C$5,000 out) and Neosurf vouchers are the two Canada-listed methods.
How the Casino Rewards group is set up
The 16 other brands belong to Casino Rewards, a group whose own FAQs date it to 2000. Their footers and terms show:
- Website operator: the footers of the Fresh Horizons brands name Apollo Entertainment Ltd, a Malta company.
- Licence: 14 brands say they're managed by Fresh Horizons Limited under Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence 00972. Cosmo and Casino Kingdom name Rock Swift Group Limited, licence 00884. Each footer links to a certificate page on the Commission's site that names the brand.
- Disputes: eCOGRA is named as the alternative dispute resolution body. Complaints can also go to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
- Withdrawals: 48 hours pending, then processed the next business day, and reversible while pending. The terms allow a weekly payout cap when wins far exceed a player's deposits across the group.
- Limits: deposit limits, cooling-off breaks and self-exclusion are arranged through support rather than self-serve screens.
- Data: the terms include consent to the use of player data for training artificial-intelligence systems. Read that clause if it matters to you.
Where the sites differ, and why we review each one separately: welcome format (jackpot chances, daily spins, three- or five-step matches, a no-deposit chance), languages (some are English-only, others add French), game emphasis and whether a separate Ontario site exists.
About our reviews
Do you play at every casino you review?
No. Our reviews are built from what each operator publishes (terms, payment policies, responsible-gambling pages, licence statements), with the date shown on each review. We do not claim hands-on testing we have not done.
Why do Casino Rewards reviews have no bonus amounts?
Casino Rewards changes its offers often and what a Canadian account sees can differ on the day you join. Rather than risk printing a wrong number, we describe the offer format and send you to the casino’s own terms.
Are the Casino Rewards casinos all the same?
They share an operator, loyalty programme and most rules, but they differ in welcome format, languages, game focus and, for Cosmo and Casino Kingdom, the licence holder named in their terms.
