About CasinoNook

CasinoNook is an independent guide to online casinos for adults in Canada. We aren't a casino and we take no bets. We list 20 brands, quote their offers and licences as the casinos state them, and leave out anything we can't stand behind. We earn money when readers join casinos through our links, and that never decides what we write.

Who we are

CasinoNook is run by a small editorial team from the operator of casinonook.com. We don't put individual names on reviews, because the guide speaks as one team. You can reach us at webmaster@casinonook.com.

How we choose the brands we list

A brand has to clear four bars to appear on CasinoNook:

  1. It accepts Canadian players, shown in its own payment or account terms, for example a Canada-only Interac line or Canadian withdrawal methods.
  2. Its Play button opens its own site. If a link stops working, the brand comes off the list.
  3. It names an operator and a licence in its own terms, so you know who runs it and who regulates it.
  4. We have a working affiliate relationship for it. We only list brands we have a commercial link with, and we say so openly.

The result is 20 brands from two groups: four ProgressPlay white-label sites and 16 Casino Rewards casinos. We don't pad the list.

What we won't publish

How we make money

When you open an account at a casino through one of our links and play, that casino or its affiliate programme may pay us a commission. The four featured brands are the ones we have the closest commercial relationship with, and they are also the brands with published Canadian offers and Interac limits. We say both things on the casino list. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Our position on gambling

We think gambling can be a reasonable pastime for adults who set limits, and a serious problem for people who don't or can't. That's why every page carries the age notice and help-line details, and why our safer gambling page lists help for every province.

About CasinoNook: questions

Is CasinoNook a casino?

No. We are an independent information site. We take no bets, hold no player funds and cannot open, close or manage casino accounts.

Can a casino pay to be reviewed or to change a review?

Casinos pay us commission when players join through our links, and that is disclosed. They cannot buy a review or edit what we write.

How do I report a mistake?

Email webmaster@casinonook.com with the page and the detail, and we will correct it.
