Free spins in Canada: what they're really worth
Free spins are prepaid rounds on a slot the casino chooses. You don't stake your own money on them, but what you win usually arrives as bonus money with its own wagering and a cash-out cap. Three of our featured brands (BetNeptune, AceLucky and LekkerBets) include spins in their Canadian welcome offers. Quatro Casino spreads daily spins over a first week. None of our 20 brands has a standard no-deposit free-spins deal.

The spin terms that matter (from the featured offers)
- Winnings are wagered too. Spin winnings need 10x wagering within 7 days.
- There's a cap. At most $ CA20 from free spins can become withdrawable cash.
- Game choice is fixed. BetNeptune's first-deposit spins are on Gonzo's Quest. The other offers name eligible games in their terms.
- They expire. Unused spins and their winnings lapse after the stated period.
Put together: free spins are a way to try a game, not a way to build a balance. A spin bundle with a $ CA20 conversion cap can't turn into more than $ CA20 of cash, however lucky the spins are.
Daily spins: Quatro's seven-day format
Quatro Casino, a Casino Rewards site, gives free spins each day for the first seven days after your first deposit, alongside a match bonus. The spins land on named slots such as Thunderstruck Wild Lightning and 9 Masks of Fire. We don't print the counts or amounts. The daily rhythm is the point to weigh up: it's designed to bring you back every day for a week.
“Free spins no deposit” in Canada
It's one of the most searched phrases in Canadian gambling, and one of the most abused. Genuine no-deposit spins do exist in the market, but they're small, heavily capped and usually need identity verification before any cash-out. Among our brands, the nearest thing is Casino Kingdom's single free chance on its Mega Money Wheel jackpot game for new registrations. See our no-deposit bonus guide for the catches.
Be wary of pages promising hundreds of no-deposit spins with “no wagering” for Canadians. Check that the casino really offers it on its own site, and check who licenses it, before you register.
Working out what spins are worth
A spin's value is its stake per spin, which the terms usually state. Multiply that by the number of spins and by the game's RTP, and you have the average return before wagering and caps. Then apply the cap. For most small spin offers, the cap decides the value, not the spins. More on RTP in our slots guide.

The operator chooses. BetNeptune’s Canadian offer names Gonzo’s Quest for its 25 first-deposit spins; other offers name eligible games in their terms.
