LekkerBets review: sports first, casino close behind

Who'll get the most from LekkerBets

LekkerBets orders its own headline as sports betting first, casino second and live casino third. That makes it a better match for someone who mainly places pre-game or in-play bets and occasionally wants a slot break at half-time, rather than the other way round. Newer players should know it's a 2024 brand on an established platform, so the software is mature even though the name is new.

Sportsbook and casino

The sportsbook sits on the ProgressPlay betting engine, with its own long rulebook covering how each sport settles. When we visited, its promotions were football-heavy, with cashback deals tied to international fixtures and a weekend sports cashback. Those can change by market.

The casino and live tabs carry the same ProgressPlay library as the sister brands. We don't list RTPs or counts. Use the in-game information panel for the figure on the version you're playing. The Canadian welcome bonus

Despite the sports-first layout, LekkerBets' Canadian welcome offer is a casino bonus: a 25% first-deposit match plus free spins. We quote it exactly below, as of 27 September 2026. The multiple is 10x on the bonus within 30 days, free-spin wins need 10x within a week, and conversion is capped. If you only want to bet on sports, you may prefer to skip the casino bonus rather than tie up your balance.

Paying in Canadian dollars

Even with a .co.za domain, LekkerBets' payment policy has a Canada-only line for Interac Combined: C$10 to C$5,000 per deposit, C$20 to C$5,000 per withdrawal, verification required. Neosurf is the other method listed for Canada. You'll find these limits side by side with our other featured brands on the Interac page.

The operator says it doesn't charge its own withdrawal fee. Your bank may still charge one. First withdrawals trigger identity checks.

Betting from your phone

LekkerBets runs as a browser web app, portrait only on phones. In-play betting on mobile is where a slow connection hurts most, so try the sportsbook on Wi-Fi before relying on mobile data for live markets. See also our mobile play tips.

Tools to set before your first bet

You can set deposit, wager and loss limits by day, week or month. Sports bettors should pay special attention to the stake limit, since in-play markets make it easy to bet more often than planned. Time-outs, session expiry, a reality check and self-exclusion are also there, and any limit applies across the operator's whole network of sites.
